As the Prime Minister faces a fight for his political life in the next 24 hours following a difficult set of local election results last week, a number of Labour MPs have come out to either show support for the PM or have called for him to set out a deadline for his departure.

Keir Starmer faces a crucial test today, as he bids to set out a fresh direction in a major speech this morning, aiming to save his leadership.
