Two more polls put Labour in the lead as Reform support falls again
New polls by Survation and More in Common have put Labour six points ahead of Reform
Two more voting intention polls have put Labour in first place, and six points ahead of Reform UK.
The latest two polls, carried out by Survation and More in Common, have put Labour in the lead and Reform in second and third place.
The Survation survey, carried out on 29 September, put Labour up two points on 29%, with Reform down one point and trailing six points behind Andy Burnham’s party, on 23%.
The survey puts the Conservatives down two points compared to a poll conducted last week, on 19%, with the Lib Dems and Greens tied on 9%.
At the beginning of the year, Reform was polling at around 30%, but now Labour has leapfrogged Reform and is once again attracting higher levels of support.
A YouGov poll released yesterday put Reform on 25%, with Labour one point behind on 24%. This is the first poll Reform has taken the lead in in two weeks.
The More in Common poll, carried out between 25 and 29 September, puts Labour up one point on 27%, with the Conservatives on 22% and Reform in third place on 21%.
Reform has led in just 3 out of the 29 surveys conducted by pollsters in September, with Labour leading in the rest.
The numbers are bad news for Nigel Farage and indicate that support for his hard-right party is waning as the party continues to find itself embroiled in financial scandals and leadership gaffes at a national and council level.
