Andy Burnham has the highest leadership approval ratings of any leader, in a boost to to the new Prime Minister.
According to polling carried out by campaign group More in Common, Burnham’s approval rating has jumped to +13, which is higher than Keir Starmer’s post election high of +11.
Meanwhile Tory leader Kemi Badenoch is on an approval rating of +3, while Ed Davey is on -5. Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, who has been embroiled in a number of scandals, is on -22, while Zack Polanski is also on -22.
The ‘Burnham bounce’ will be welcome news for many Labour activists and members, as the party also narrows the gap with Reform UK to just two points.
According to the latest poll carried out by More in Common, Reform are on 26%, with no change since the last poll, while Labour are on 24%, increasing their support by 2 points.
