The Labour Party has a four point lead in the polls ahead of its party conference due to take place later this week.
In a boost to Prime Minister Andy Burnham, who has presided over a turnaround in the party’s performance since he became leader, Labour are on 27%, while Reform are on 23%. Meanwhile, the Tories are on 21% and the Green Party on 13%.
Labour (-1), Reform UK (-2) and the Lib Dems (-1) all see a small drop since last month.
The polling was carried out by Ipsos between 10th – 15th September and comes ahead of the budget later next month.
Reform has continued to face a decline in the polls after Farage’s numerous scandals, including over his failure to adequatley declare a £5million donation from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne and is currently facing a standards committee probe into the matter.
