A gold bullion firm that has paid Nigel Farage over £400,000 to act as an ambassador, has predicted that violence will ensue should Reform win a general election.

Direct Bullion is, it appears, more than happy to exploit the political division Farage is so often accused of stoking, in order to boost its own profits and convince viewers gold is the best investment in times of instability.

Byline Times reports that a promotional video from Direct Bullion, titled ‘50-Year Crisis Repeating?’, is ‘riddled with grim warnings about the state of British politics. And it puts some of the blame – or perhaps, for the firm, opportunity – at the door of the right-wing party.’

The video states: “It’s becoming increasingly difficult to imagine Britain getting through the next few years without a rise in political violence.”

It goes on: “If a Reform government pushes through its agenda, resistance from those ideologically opposed to that direction could severely undermine national stability.”

Labour MP and chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Anti-Corruption and Responsible Tax, Phil Brickell MP, told Byline Times: “It should come as no surprise that Farage is taking thousands of pounds from a company trying to cash in on betting against Britain. Once again, it is clear that he is more interested in feathering his own nest than fixing our problems.”
