Left Foot Forward can reveal the full results of the Green Party elections, which were announced on Tuesday.

Jonathan Bartley have been elected as co-leaders with 6329 votes. who was recently elected a councillor in Lambeth, and Siân Berry, a London Assembly member for the party. Bartley was recently elected a councillor in Lambeth, and Siân Berry is a London Assembly member for the party.

The 75% secured by the co-leadership team follows Bartley and Berry leading the race as favourites throughout August, when members were voting for key positions in the party.

The other two candidates – Shahrar Ali, academic and former deputy leader, and Leslie Rowe, a former parliamentary candidate in Yorkshire – received 1466 and 495 votes respectively.

With 39,000 members, the turnout of ~8500 members appears to be around 22%.

Every two years the party elects its leadership team. The co-leaders had previously been Caroline Lucas and Jonathan Bartley, but Lucas, perhaps the most well-known Green politician and its only MP, decided not to stand for re-election to make way for new voices.
