Yarl's Wood Detainee

The Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre is an overwhelmingly women's detention facility in Bedfordshire, England. Since it's opening in 2001, its history has been mired by allegations of physical and sexual abuse of detainees. In February 2018, 120 women held up in Yarl's Wood went on hunger strike over detention conditions.
