The Labour Party has hit 30% in the polls for the first time since November 2024, opening up a 5 point lead over Reform.
The poll, which was carried out by Opinium after the Labour conference, gives Labour a 2 point increase to 30%, while Reform are on 25%, giving Labour a 5 point lead.
Meanwhile the Tories are on 17%, while the Greens are on 11% and Lib Dems on 9%.
The polling boost post conference will be welcome news for the Labour Party, after Burnham laid out his programme for government in his first address to conference as Labour Party leader.
Burnham laid out a number of measures to fix Britain’s broken political system, including bringing water, energy and gas into public control, setting up a national care service free at the point of use and a commission on electoral reform.
The former Mayor of Greater Manchester set out a number of bold and radical measures to tackle inequality and the cost of living crisis that have clearly gone down well.
