In what will make disastrous reading for Nigel Farage, Reform UK has slumped to its lowest level of polling support in more than a year and a half.
The poll, carried out by More in Common, put Labour on 27%, while Reform are on 23%. Nigel Farage’s party are down two points compared to the last poll carried out by More in Common, while the Tories are now one point behind Reform on 22%.
Liberal Democrats meanwhile are on 10%, while the Greens are on 9%.
Reform’s woes are continuing as Nigel Farage struggles following his involvement in a number of scandals, including over his failure to adequately declare a £5million gift from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne, over which he faces a Standards Committee probe.
The party has also been hit by scandals over its candidates who have expressed far-right and bigoted views, while its record in local government is one plagued by bitter infighting and broken promises.
It’s not the first poll over the summer that has seen declining support for Reform UK, with Reform collapsing from highs of around 30 points last year to around the low 20s this year.
