A former Reform councillor has explained why defecting to the party was the ‘biggest mistake of his life’, saying that Nigel Farage’s outfit are ‘very good at spin, but struggle with good governance.’
Robbie Lammas, a Medway councillor who decided to quit the Conservatives in October last year and join Reform, is now regretting his decision after just 8 months and has quit the party.
Speaking to BBC Kent, the councillor said defecting from the Tories had been the “biggest mistake of my life” and he has spoken to other Reform councillors who believe the same.
He said: “I’m going to leave Reform, I’ve had enough, it’s not what I signed up to, and I feel I’ve been misled.”
He also criticised the party’s ability to govern, saying they were “good at spin, but struggle with good governance.”
One wonders whether other Tories, like Suella Braverman and Robert Jenrick feel the same way?
