The think tank reckons if you earn under £37k, you're unskilled.

After the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) declared that you should have to earn £36,700 a year to be considered skilled, we’ve looked into all the professions where the average wage is less than this.

As three-quarters of UK taxpayers earn less than this threshold, there’s a fair few. Here’s 37 of them, according to the Office of National Statistics.

It’s worth noting that the CSJ equated this level of income to being “skilled” in the context of wanting to increase the minimum income threshold for immigrants from £30,000 to £36,700.

So the fact that the current minimum income threshold for non-EU migrants is £30,000 suggests that the government considers all roles earning under £30,000 to be unskilled.
