Nigel Farage is being ridiculed this morning after claiming to have ‘beaten the establishment candidate’ in Count Binface after his by-election victory in Clacton.

The brass neck of the Reform UK leader has seen him claim a resounding victory against the political establishment, even though all of the major political parties boycotted the vote given it was a stunt aimed at deflecting attention away from the Standards Committee investigation Farage was undergoing over his failure to properly declare a £5million gift.

He called the by-election as a way of seizing the narrative and attempting to deflect away from accountability, an attempt that spectacularly backfired.

Farage was clearly expected to win against satirical candidate Count Binface, and yet he’s tried to claim it was a victory against the ‘establishment’.

He told GB News during an interview: “I’ve managed to beat the establishment candidate”.

One social media user commented that millionaire, publicly educated former banker Farage ‘is the establishment’.

Another added: “The establishment is apparently just people who hate Farage.

“What a pathetic drama queen.”
