Could Robert Jenrick be regretting his decision to defect to Reform UK from the Tories, after a poll predicted that he could be set to lose his seat to his former party?

Jenrick, who defected to Nigel Farage’s party at the beginning of the year, claimed that the Tories were “over” and that Reform was “uniting the right”.

Jenrick jumped ship after Tory leader Kemi Badenoch discovered his plans to defect. Farage then unveiled him as a Reform MP at a press conference, with the former Tory claiming that: “Both Labour and the Conservatives broke Britain. And both are now dominated by those without the competence or backbone needed to fix it.”

However, in an ironic twist, voters in his constituency are set to boot him out in favour of his former party.

UK Polling Report predict that the Tories would win the seat in the next general election with 36% of the vote while Jenrick and Reform would come in second place, on 27%.
