Fracking enjoys widespread support in Britain, according to a new survey.

Research carried out by the research group Populus for UK Onshore Oil and Gas (UKOOG) found that 57 per cent were in favour of the controversial tachnique which extracts shale gas from the ground.

The poll quizzed 4,000 people and found that 16 per cent were opposed, with just over a quarter (27 per cent) undecided.

The poll shows that the public would like to see the government use both shale gas and renewables to meet the country’s energy requirements.

I suggest you “read” the investor’s pamphlet! Written to “prove” a point. And right right, no risks at all, but you’ve offloaded them onto the taxpayer anyway, which puts the lie to THAT.

Oh yes, they should hate this country and want to impose costs on the poor. Hmm.

So you want coal. Which is going to exclude nuclear, in practice.

Not at all. Where does it do that?

No harm in public liability, which they needed before they’ll begin. Hmm!

Keep lying…especially since even if your insurance claim WAS true, the cash would come out of people’s bills. Moreover, swapping gas sources does not drop emissions, so you’re lying again.

Moreover, no bleeding more cash abroad to foreign-owned companies does not help us, neither does your protectionism of high bills, and your propaganda against nuclear power, your FEAR of allowing energy which would actually drop bills!

Oh right, worse. Your type of “competitive” race to the bottom, where you’d make it illegal to compete, and elected officials who dared cross you would go to jail. Very capitalist, just like China.
