The IPPR has produced an interesting graph showing where George Osborne’s cuts to departmental budgets might fall – the column on the left is without the NHS, education and aid ringfence and the column on the right is with the current ringfence in place.
In other words, Osborne’s failure to get the economy growing – as well as yesterday’s regressive givaways – will have a frankly devastating impact on our public services.
