Martin McGuinness today revealed he has never seen David Cameron – except on television.
Addressing the “Ulster Fry” fringe event at the Labour party conference alongside Lord Mandelson the Northern Ireland Deputy First Minister added he did not get on well with Conservatives.
He said:
“I have never actually seen David Cameron – except on television. I do not have a high regard for the Tories, and I suspect the feeling’s mutual. They have never had an understanding of the north of Ireland.
“Say what you will about Tony Blair, the one thing you cannot take away from him are the huge strides we have made. Fifteen years ago, I would never have imagined sitting alongside a British government minister at a British party conference.”

Mr Trimble is a Tory and he certainly has an understanding of ‘the north of Ireland.’
The Labour Party might also have an understanding of it if they actually fielded candidates there, but they refuse to treat it as a part of the United Kingdom.

Hmmm not sure I really want Marty’s endorsement, but on the other hand he’s right on the money about the Tories

Makes Mr McGuiness look a bit daft. All the evidence suggests Cameron will become the next PM.
Obama’s met with Cameron, so have Sarkozy and Merkel. You’d think it would be wise for Sinn Fein to switch off their TV and meet Cameron.
