Has a privately run hospital really been named the best by experts?
For what possible reason would a company which specialises in outsourcing want to promote outsourcing and private sector involvement in the NHS?
According to Guido Fawkes today, a Circle-run hospital has been named as the best in England by experts.
“48 hours after Ed Miliband claimed that private companies were sending the NHS “backwards”, Circle-run Hinchingbrooke Hospital has been named the best hospital in England,” Guido writes.
So much for Ed Miliband’s claim that the coalition is undermining the NHS by putting “the principles of markets and competition at the heart of the NHS like never before”, eh?
Except that the so-called ‘experts’ who gave the award to the Circle-run hospital are none other than CHKS – that’s Capita to you and me.
And before you ask, yes that’s the same Capita which calls itself a “UK leader in business process management and outsourcing solutions”.
Now for what possible reason would a company which specialises in outsourcing want to promote outsourcing and private sector involvement in the NHS?
