Reform spells own party name wrong in Holborn and St Pancras by-election letter to voters

‘They can’t even spell their own name’

Reform UK has spelt its own party name wrong in a letter sent to voters ahead of the Holborn and St Pancras by-election today.

As reported by the Metro, the party has been told “they can’t even spell their own name” after a crucial by-election letter called them ‘Refrom UK’.

The letter only mentions the party’s name once, but spells it wrong.

The “embarrassing” spelling error was made in a letter circulated just days before the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, which is today (8 October).

Reform’s candidate, former police officer Pete Newman, sent a letter to residents in Camden on Monday, to persuade them to vote for him.

In the letter, he set out how he would put more police on the streets and keep police stations open to tackle crime in the constituency.

The voter who contacted the Metro about the letter said she was confused not to see Reform’s name on the campaign material until the very bottom of the letter.

She then spotted that Reform had been misspelt.

The Camden resident told Metro: “I think it’s so embarrassing for Reform that they can’t even spell their own name.

“I was reading through the letter trying to work out who sent it and it’s the only mention of the party on the entire thing.

“Reform clearly don’t have a chance in Holborn and St Pancras. It was a slapdash leaflet that they didn’t even proofread. It’s sloppy campaigning.”

Reform has since sent out a letter where the party’s name was spelt correctly.
