The racism scandal engulfing Reform UK continues as further revelations are made by ITV’s undercover investigation, with now a Reform activist and aspiring MP claiming that Muslims like the party’s home affairs spokesperson Zia Yusuf cannot be British.

ITV had previously exposed Reform councillors expressing racist and misogynistic views. The revelations are part of a year-long undercover investigation carried out by the channel. Last week, it was revealed that councillors described Asian families as “parasites” and said the government should “stick them on planes and **** them off to Pakistan”.

In footage broadcast yesterday, the unnamed Reform activist also said that asylum seekers should be put in “concentration camps”.

He said: “If a Muslim’s prepared to de-convert, I’m happy.

“But if they want to remain faithful to Islam, then this would be, I would have disagreements, especially with, um, I mean, as far as I understand, (Reform home affairs spokesman) Zia Yusuf is a Muslim.

“To me… you cannot be a Muslim and British… it’s like oil and water.”

Discussing asylum seekers crossing the English Channel in small boats, the activist said: “In the first week of election, build concentration camps, and everyone who comes across on the Channel, you’re in there.”
