Has this lady ever met a lord or a teenager?

“The lived reality”? See, I look around, and I don’t see any environmental collapse. If you measure it, farm production is up, and food is better than ever (and that’s pretty much worldwide — except for socialist countries). I’m assured the collapse is just round the corner — but then I’ve been being assured that for my entire life. But it isn’t anyone’s “lived reality”.

I don’t see social collapse. There is an issue in the West with new immigrants struggling to fit in — but since Natalie is 100% in favour of them coming, I don’t think that can be the problem. The rest of us would like to ensure the non-collapse of society by making sure we have houses for our own countrymen first, because we’re “racist”.

Natalie is a chicken little. Some things may get worse, and some will almost certainly get better. That’s the way of the world. Pretending it’s all falling apart around us is just nonsense.

Meanwhile, those poor “climate strikers” will all get a vote at the next general election. Yes, us meanies won’t let them vote until they are 18, but it’s not like we are going to prevent them voting forever. The Greens have pinned their hopes on the young voting for them forever, but they always forget that over time the young learn stuff — and one of the things they tend to learn is that the Greens are full of it.

Even the majority of Labour MPs voted for the Heathrow 3rd runway – against Labour’s own policy.

There’s no reason to assume the undemocratic Lords can avoid a similar corporate stitch-up.

The Greens would do better to campaign for the abolition of the Lords.
