I disagree with Joe.

Yes we do have some bureaucratic waste in the NHS and PFI was a disaster. However the sums involved are nothing in comparison to what would be pulled out by shareholders looking for profit.

The Empire is gone and the focus needs to change from issues such as Trident replacement to building a fairer society.

A Labour Party that continues to support WMD has already lost the debate.

The ‘free at the point of delivery’ public service, paid for through central Government taxation, remains central to all the political parties.

If the private sector can provide better value for money than a public sector bureaucratic monopoly then it should be used. Why waste taxpayers money?

The last Labour Government was the biggest NHS privatiser through its use of the awful PFI schemes.
