Yes, it costs a lot to run a country. But, as Professor Sikka points out, all government spending is politically and ideologically driven. And the UK is a sovereign nation which creates money into existence – the pound in your pocket is the Government’s debt and, frankly, I’d like a bit more of it. Nothing wrong with communism as it long as it isn’t like soviet communism. Remember Karl Marx wasn’t a communist in that mould in spite of the fact that he wrote the communist manifesto. The ubbish you people talk about debt from either of these causes ignores the fact that this country loses about £120 billion a year to the tories tax dodging cronies. The state will not control the internet any more than it controls the TV network or anything else. It’s big business that controls EVERYTHING in this country and we don’t get a vote to kick THEM out.

The state’s pension debts based on ONS numbers, are increasing at 20% per year and have hit 10,000 bn.

So next year you need to find another 2,000 bn just to stop the pensions debt getting out of control. And the same the year after.

Even confiscating all assets from the tech giants can’t plug that hole.

But what the heck, lets get the accountants to do a Bernie Madoff and hide the debts off the books.
