There seems to be a concerted effort to deny the majority, who voted for Brexit, as all the talk is about either another referendum or leaving without a deal. If before the referendum it was made plain that if there was a vote to leave it would be ignored then that would be an honest assessment of what is happening. Leavers are becoming more and more exasperated with the lack of will to carry out the wishes of the majority. If we can’t get an acceptable deal then we should leave without one – we haven’t any other choice.

Perhaps Larry would like to think about the as yet unresolved issues about illegality and corruption in the Leave campaign and how the media has chosen to largely ignore it. Furthermore, it is unfair to load anything but a small responsibility for the Brexit debacle on Labour. Labour are still working with the October conference model of Brexit and have far from ruled out a second (actually it would be a third referendum – I demand that the two-thirds majority to stay of the 1975 vote be respected) referendum which may be the only way out of the impasse!
