Another day and still nothing from Labour or Mr Corbyn on Catalunya and nothing on this website either.

Even the BBC has at last deigned to report from Catalunya. They actually gave a considerable amount of radio time.

Labour will continue to support Trident because the GMB is the main trade union at Faslane. Of the two leadership candidates for the Labour Party in Scotland, one, Mr Sarwar, was contemptuous of Mr Corbyn (cosying up just now!) and is backed by Jackie Baillie, MSP for the Faslane area, the only MSP apart from the Tories to vote in favour of Trident renewal and the other, Mr Leonard, is a former GMB official, who claims to be a member of CND but has supported Trident renewal.

During the general election, Corbyn was hamstrung by Labour’s support for Trident. It meant that he was unable to challenge ‘Mushroom Cloud’ May and her willingness to actually start a nuclear war.

Labour’s policy on Trident replacement now needs to change.

And what has this self proclaimed supporter of causes of self determination had to say about the growing crisis in Catalunya? How many reports has this self proclaimed democratic socialist site had on Catalunya?

Perhaps I blinked and missed them?

Is your position, “Rajoy might be a Falangist, but at least he’s OUR Falangist”. He is a useful club to use against those in Scotland seeking independence – you know, that Scotland, which Mr Corbyn thinks is one of the countries of England, that Scotland which cannot have a separate legal system from the rest of England (despite it having always been separate since 1707).
