Imran K presumes to read between the lines. I do not place Podemos alongside the likes of Blair. I tried to make the point that I hoped others would not attempt to corrupt the ideals of Podemos and to saddle us with another pretend alternative, like that of the Blair government.

Mark, hand on heart, do you honestly think that all the reforms which Podemos demand will be taken seriously by the elite that rules us and the rest of the EU? The elite is there to govern like Plato’s Guardians. It is not there to accept the views of some homespun politicos.

You can’t have a Tobin Tax and be in the EU.

That went all the way in the courts and the tax lost.

As long as we don’t all have to ’embrace’ some poorly disguised form of cursed Blairism again. Three terms in power pretending to ourselves that we need to wait ‘just another few months’ on top of the ‘few months’ that we’ve already waited, just for a snifter of a non-Tory policy.

And then, ‘Pop!’ it’s all over, the NHS haemorrhaging money to PFIs, the UK embroiled in an illegal war, the world an infinitely more dangerous place, a decade of austerity for some on the horizon, and ‘Hey Presto!’ Saint Tony’s now a multi-multi-millionaire, the country now primed, softened up and ripe for cherry-picking neoliberals.

Sounds like blare-ism to be oh we must ignore the past and appear different. So i ask has all the old members of the party gone along with image over substance? No one in Labour wants to call everyone comrade all the time unless your stuck in the 1970’s, the party post Corbin has exploded to the highest membership in years so something is going right.

When Jeremy speaks he is mobbed and talks to anyone and actually answers not a politicization answer. Did you see him on the last leg now that shows a man of the people and he can poke fun at himself. Will they do that or will they as i suspect answer what they think people want to hear so get power by endless compromises and fake image. Give up morals are you serious, the songs are only sung at congress and badges of identity tell people you stand for something not just image? So become fake Tories (gag)…

Sorry what is this blog becoming i seriously don’t want to hear consent become fake Tories to get elected drip drip stories. Let’s try and do it Jeremy’s way and see what happens in a fair election, not a bought and paid for one like last one!
