Only this week Third Sector published an article lamenting the death of thousands of community groups around Britain. The idea will simply not work without funds, and May is looking for the voluntary sector to bail out the government who don’t really want to help refugees- and especially don’t want to pay for them. It might sound ok, but is disingenuous- this government wants to do as little as it can for people in need whilst not looking evil. It’s the same trick as cutting benefits and saying everyone will be saved by a new minimum wage. They are really nasty bastards.
