They've had their say, now have yours
Labour’s leadership candidates have now had ample chance to put their case to voters. Now it’s your chance to quiz the four MPs on why they should be the next leader of the Labour party.
In a special programme on Thursday 3 September, Sky News presenter Adam Boulton will be hosting a televised debate with Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper, Jeremy Corbyn and Liz Kendall.
As well as deciding the questions, the audience will be able to vote on the candidates’ answers in real time using Bing Pulse – a tool developed with Microsoft.
The first half of the 90-minute debate, which will be streamed live from The Sage in Gateshead, will be taken up with questions from the audience in the room.
The second half will see questions handed over to the viewing audience on TV and online.
It will be the candidates’ final TV debate, and your final chance to ask questions, as voting for the Labour leadership race closes exactly a week later.
John Ryley, Head of Sky News, said:
“The race for the Labour leadership is far more exciting than had been anticipated.
“The Sky News debate will be the backdrop to the decisive clash between the candidates, as Labour attempts to redefine itself following the defeat of the General Election.”

I have a question: why is TORY Liz allowed to run but TUSC supporters not allowed to vote?
Cole
Oh come on. I don’t like Liz but she is a member of the Labour Party and not a Tory.

Her agenda is and always has been TORY. She shouldn’t be allowed in our SOCIALIST party and never should have been
