(Though it loops back to inequality – health boards in more deprived areas are likely to opt for later induction dates due to pressure on the service…)

Your economics is what’s assaulting the family, of course. Poverty raises teen pregnancy rates, sharply. As does being in a family where both parents work.

Your policy of “don’t talk about sex” has been proven time and again not to work. It’s you who are the one doing the encouraging of underage sex here by that one, as you blindly blame the Reds Under The Beds for not following even poorer policies.

Teenage girls are not sufficiently developed to endure the rigours of child birth, what’s more they’re forced out of school early giving them no chance of breaking the poverty cycle for them or their children. Hence this sorry state of affairs. Sadly this is what you get for assaulting the family; using sex education to undermine parental power and encouraging under age sex amongst teenagers by offering puerile treats from the benefits office to encourage the young and immature into gestation – you in the ‘progressive’ left are entirely to blame for this and every unnecessary death a scathing indictment of postwar left wing social policy.
