Labour have been throwing money at the NHS since its inception. Bevan started off on the wrong foot by “stuffing the doctors mouths with gold”
Labour has continued in the same vein ever since.
Just because it was a good idea to set up the NHS, does not mean that it cannot be made to work in a cost effective manner.
Make the NHS an efficient service that meets the needs of the population but, not at any price.
Stop all cosmetic surgery (unless it is reconstructive).
Seriously reduce the amount spent on IVF, (having a child is a gift, not a right).
Get rid of all the jobsworths, Labour party placemen and wastrels infesting the layers of middle and upper management.
Then there is a chance of it becoming the service that Britain deserves.

It extends the tax base.
