Jill and Brian Seymour have been party donors for years as well as hard working activists who go out knocking doors and delivering leaflets. Jill got on the MEP shortlist by passing the same independent psychometric testing and interview panel as every other MEP candidate and then was voted to the top of the list by the membership. There’s nothing suspicious about it.

Of course. criminals is an easy descriptor -even for you I suspect- and spongers could translated as those who don’t have a job to go to.

I’d add another, no job should be advertised abroad before it has been advertised here in this country.

Eh? Left Foot Forward isn’t a Labour blog. And around 70% of people voted for broadly pro E.u parties.

Btw, Germany have a more or less proportional system unlike us. Merkel is in coalition with the SPD. She couldn’t form a government on her own with 35% of the vote (as Labour did here in 2095).
