How many real Christians are there anywhere in the Western world? Many American Christians seem to be obsessed with allying themselves to ultra Right wing politics or are into the Prosperity Gospel, basically the worship of money, and many English Christians are very Middle class and obsessed with being seen as respectable which is far more to do with social status and being part of a clique for the socially acceptable than any real belief in Jesus. Someone said that the Church of England is the Tory party at prayer. Perhaps you might say it is the establishment at prayer? I don’t see what any of it has to do with Christian values or living your life in obedience to God though.
