And because we all thought that all Police behave impecabbly, we all believed them, inc Dave and Ed and others. Mitch had to go immediately otherwise the Govt would have been hammered week after week for keeping him on, as often so often happens when a Minister errs, or is said to err. I’m always in favour of dropping them immediately, because they damage the Govts standing, and sod anyone who says they’ve not been given a fair hearing. Well we’ll give them a fair hearing a year on when things have quietened down thank you.
