Cuts to the green levy will only be tinkering around the issue. The problem is that the market is rigged by the big 6 energy providers. They themselves generate and sell to themselves and even at that wholesale prices have been stable for the past few years.

And if Cameron for spins sake cuts the levy and moves it into general taxation he really will be the conman – not the other guy.
