That’s exactly the kind of elitism that had ruined democracy. Ferguson, the bin man that lives down the road and you and me all have one thing in common – we have a right to be considered equal. Just because some toff can go to Oxford or Cambridge on a trust fund to embark on a life in career politics, doesn’t make them any more capable of commenting on society then anyone else. If anything, it makes them LESS capable because they’ve never really lived IN society. ‘Relevant’?? How is politicians having stocks and shares in companies that are granted tax breaks and subsidies ‘relevant’? Come on, seriously…
