No, killing off the poor is nowhere in the Labour plan, oddly enough. The debt continues to soar, as your Coalition have made no serious efforts to reduce it whatsoever, and they continue to suck billions out of the economy with cuts to things with a multiple WELL above 1.0.

The economy is going to keep falling, of course, as your death cycle plan A pushes on.

A more sensible criticism would be that the coalition’s plan for deficit reduction was unrealistic, which caused the second recession and prevented the deficit falling in this financial year. The government seems to have learnt its lesson, so the economy will probably grow modestly during the next two years and the deficit will fall to something close to what was planned for by Alistair Darling. The coalition will then be able to argue that it has implemented the Darling Plan!
