Kennedy was not sent in to spy on climate change protesters. He entered the eco-anarchist movement in 2003 before any climate protests had happened. He was sent in to a movement who do lots of peaceful direct action but also engage in riots, and whose overt aim is the destruction of capitalism and the state.

“Twenty others arrested… had been kept totally unaware both of Kennedy and the tape.” – This is not true.

Kennedy had been uncovered weeks before. The 20 discussed it at length and decided not to mention Kennedy at their trial as they wanted to talk about the issue of climate change rather than the policing of the protest.
