Plaid were offered first minister if they went with the Tories and the Limp Dems in the last senedd and turned it down. The parties are just too far apart.

I think the problem might be that Labour are scared at having to work with Plaid again, They seem happiest in a one party state….

I think you’ll find that Plaid, all along, has said that going into coalition with the Tories would be very difficult, given what they are up to, down in London. Yet Labour are showing themselves up, time and time again so far in this campaign, to be underhand, dirty and vicious in their tactics. It is not Plaid policy to abolish CF. It is Plaid policy to reform and cut bureacracy from the programme – certainly not to get rid of it! According to the BBC, Plaid would “reform Communities First, slashing bureaucracy and focusing support on community-led initiatives that can show clear outcomes”. Independent report after independent report shows that CF is lacking clear targets, and is open to corruption – see Plas Madoc in Wrexham for an obvious example.

Sloppy, lazy reporting like this is damaging. Pandering to a Labour party which assumes as its divine right power in Wales doesn’t help people, and it doesn’t help our country. If this is a Labour propaganda site, fine, but don’t sell yourselves as a site for “progressive politics” when in Wales, people have a genuine alternative – a decentralist, socialist party, standing up for the people of Wales.

As for that hopeless Carl Sargeant and support of the rip off “Communities First” program he needs to explain where the money has gone.

Why aren’t you questioning that Ed? I ask because since living in Wales that program is truly shocking. Were you aware that despite not fully complying with the FOI request at least £76000 has been paid in recruitment alone and that doesn’t account for what is believed to be upwards of £100k more. But the Assembly won’t tell us.

It’s a disgrace and any Labour AM who supports this horrendous waste of our money when it could be paid on the needy needs booting out on their backside at this election.

If the Tories and Plaid join together for the benefit of the country who need rid of Labour until they start apologising nationally for the mess they’ve left the UK in then good.

Your seeming support of this money wasting organisation is very telling Ed. The principal of it is right until Labour quangoism gets involved…
