Mr Mouse, I was talking about what Gove said on bankers’ bonuses there rather than his education reforms, but I will answer your question.

I must admit to not really agreeing with the previous governments’ academies programme, but unlike this one, it targeted underperforming schools, whereas this one is fasttracking the most successful through the system.

And I am totally opposed to what they’re doing with the English Bac; apart from the policy itself, the big problem is the way in which it has been introduced.

Bad result for the Lib Dems, Lib Dems have deserted Clegg, and need the votes of the Tories to stay in the game.

There was no switch from Labour to the Lib Dems, even Conservatives voted for Labour.

Voting turnover was down by 12% yet Labour managed to increase it’s majority by 3,400

Good victory for Miliband, espcially with all the small minded criticism of him.

Shamik – Good article. Well done Labour for winning big in the by-election.

Mr.Sensible – Not so fast on Govey last night. Seems to me the government are the true “Heirs to Blair” when it comes to education. Lord Adonis agrees with Gove and tell me how the government’s policies actually differ from Labour’s aspirations pre Brown.

Seems to me Mr.S that you are simply opposing for opposition’s sake. Not good big fella..,
