This generation of our youth will be politicised to a much greatter degree than the several generations of our youth that went before it. We do not knw what this menas for th ecurrent political landscape. The youth, want politics done a different way… can’t does nto feature in the vocabulary. They watched their parents binge on consumer debt, houses crash in value. They know that we the older generations have polluted their planter and scavanged all its resources. To them, we are stuffy, fuddy duddies, stuck in a rut. We bankrupt half the kids through crippling loans, the others wander the streets competing for low skilled work, or hanging round city centres. The UK is changing so fast but the political elite are entirely aloof from it all. I watch with bated breath as to how the rising tide of youthful dissent responds…

I hope, desperately hope, that they rememebr or realise they had a friend in Labour….

1. Living wage
2. Graduate Tax
3. apprenticeship/college/placement for all 18-29 year olds…
4. 400,000 new council homes

These are the policies our youth deserve.
