As for Fields he will defect ( and is a pseudo Tory anyway) best to expel him.

MPs who work for the Coalition should have to be agreed by the Party

I think his comments there are appalling, though.

He holds a grudge and his ego is bigger than anyone’s God. He should have been expelled way back. He can only do Labour damage. A man with two Fs in his name for a reason.

Frank Field.

Who’s language on benefit reform is about as New Right as you can get.

I actually think Ms Harman should have stood; I have managed to see her first 2 performences at PMQs and think she’s done well.

In the Regressives catagory, Shamik, as usual I think there are several contenders. They all have 1 thing in common; all to do with cuts, and all in the Blue corner.

First, enter the main man; George Osborne. He has said that we’re all in this together, and he has also said that we need to cut the deficit to help the recovery. I hardly think throwing 725000 plus people on the dole and forcing SMEs (Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises) to the wall through changes to procurement are hardly going to aid the recovery, or cut the deficit, are they?

Second, as you have highlighted Shamik, the cutting of Free School Meals, at the same time as pressing ahead with the new accademies.

Next, enter Mr Willits. His proposals on Tuition Fees and halving places, coupled with jobs being slashed is going to create more NEETs.

Finally, enter Bob Neil, Local Government Minister, who admitted to the Commons that, contrary to what George Osborne has said poorer areas and frontline services will bear the brunt. The cat is well and truely out of the bag. What’s more, they’re saying we should replace Labour’s ‘Pay as you Throw’ scheme with an uncosted and uneconomical reward scheme based on Windsor and Maidenhead. Why is it uneconomical? Well because those who recycle will continue to do so as they did before and those who don’t won’t. I found it telling listening to 1 resident in the area who said she was not recycling any more than usual as a result of this. This scheme targets the wrong people.

Anyway, have a good weekend, and Come On England!
