The well-known islamic principle of ‘taqiyya’ – i.e., the intentional use of deceit usually employed as part of a strategy of social manipulation in order to ensure the eventual worldwide supremacy of Islam – would suggest adherents of the muslim faith would ipso facto be untrustworthy and, therefore, inherently lacking in morals or principles as WE understand these concepts.

She has a point – look at the expenses scandal and the fact that Shahid Malik and Baroness Uddin were implicated in fiddling their expenses. Also, she has specifically mentioned CURRENT (2005-10) MPs and not any muslim aspiring to be an MP, so Sadiq Khan really needs to learn how to read before generalising – absolute plonker!
