UKIP is actually more ‘libertarian’ in a right-wing sense than the Tories, but are more firmly anti-EU (surprise) than the Tories ever will be. I always felt that the Tories opposition to federalism and the Euro was often a bit of a pose, designed to hoover up certain votes. UKIP is more genuine.

Not that I want to be positive about UKIP. They are also hostile to welfare and the science of global warming! Strange people.
