Tories post mixed messages over strike policy

Tory big-wigs at sixes and sevens over postal strike policy.

The Tories posted mixed messages over their policy on the postal strike today.

In the House of Commons today Conservative leader David Cameron said:

“The only way to stop these strikes and the way to stop this militancy is to show some leadership and some backbone and some courage [and step in to stop the dispute].”

But his Shadow Business Secretary believes the Government “should not intervene” in the dispute.
