Not that I’ve ever thought of the word “democracy” when thinking about the labour party, the party seems to have gone all out to eschew all democratic principles during this leadership election.

If the labour party is so afraid of getting the wrong person then why bother with a pluralistic vote? Just have a conclave amongst labour MPs and chose the one they want.

I would like to see a Labour leader who isn’t evidently still a school girl, isn’t accused of facilitating the outright despicable treatment of patients in the NHS and isn’t the wife of the greatest loser the British economy has ever had to put up with.

Have I expressed myself clearly and without ambiguity?

  3. Tony Fitzpatrick
