Obama: The drone President?
CIA director designate John Brennan yesterday strongly defended the use of drones to kill terrorist targets.
Considering he’s been the President’s top counterterrorism adviser for the past four years, this is perhaps unsurprising.
Obama too has defended drones as a way of making war that minimises civilian casualties.
But do Obama’s claims about drones add up? Are civilian casualties as low as he makes out? Will future generations refer to Obama as the drone President?
